unclassified RE: in need of rear shocks!!   2004-04-06 11:10:00 <WATSON ADRIAN AET1>

Having never experienced a standard height supra (my 1g, and now my 7m were
both lowered when I got them) I can't really comment on the differences,
but I have had no complaints about the way they handle

just things i have noticed is since my car was lowered i feel like my car

psychological thing lol or it actually does improve
and my camber is sweet as, just need a wheel alignment lol

well there's my 2c ;)

Ah, well sorry to say, but then your car cannot handle well, end of story.
There is no such thing as a good handling car with shocks that do not match
the strings, and from the sound of it you would need harder shocks that
stock, not softer.

Stuart W.

RE: in need of rear shocks!!   2004-04-06 15:46:00 <Hunt M>
Hey
Yes my shocks are slightly stuffed - the front ones were replaced when I
lowered the car and were fine for a while but because of the nature of the
lowering and the fact that the shocks are working all the time lower than
what they were designed for - and therefore wearing out quicker. The rear
ones are stock and are pretty stuffed as well.
Suze speaking of which - are you able to get in contact with that guy from
SAS I think it was called - about my shocks - member he came round and had a
look at them and admitted that they were stuffed - We were talking about
replacing them under warranty??

Cheers
Hunt
