Yes, the Group-A rally supra used a different turbo and ECU, but since it was basically a custom build, that is no surprise. I have a book around here somewhere with the details, but cannot lay my hands on it right now. Regards, Stuart.

The homogated road version being the Turbo-A with has a slightly larger turbo and is MAP sensed instead of the MAF. I believe (although I could be wrong here) that the homoligation cars were build to homoligate the TTE car in 1987, although it probably homoligated the track cars as well. I should try and dig up my toyota engine tech book, which has much more info on these cars. Oh, one thing the rally car also did, It somehow, unbelievably, won the 1987 Rally Hong Kong - Beijing.
