Intercooler   2004-04-30 18:12:00 <Marc Archbold>

Picked up the new Intercooler today for my JZA70, finally!
It was built from a template of the original IC so should go straight
in.

Custom 'Bar & Plate' from Heat Exchanger services.

Will be doing basic efficiency testing, so let you all know how it
works out.

Cheers,
Marc

Has anyone purchased these before - if so can you remember the model
number and what they are worth new?

Cheers

Cool! :) how much?
Internal finned?
I believe that's one of the BIG factors that separates the good intercoolers
from the majority of good looking, but actually shite ones.

Stuart.

Absolutely cool :) They've done a fantantic job welding it up. A very
reasonable $875, Im sure I could put an HKS sticker on it and sell it
for more :)

Yes internal finned/tubulators, 28 passages. I suspect they use spearco
cores from the US.

They showed me the core before fitting (well ok, I insisted :) Only
points off would be that it does not appear to have internal deflector
plates in the tanks.
