What to look out for when buying a 1994 TT manual MKIV? Any common faults or

Cheers

from my limited memory..

blown turbos (rear one fails first from memory?)
leaking rear gearbox seal (common problem on the 6speed)
stuffed shocks (very expensive to replace from memory..)

Oh, and some nice wafer-thin luggage to fit in the non-existant boot space ;)

anyone else?

Stuart W.

Check for any obvious signs of previous mods such as boost controller
etc... if any found, check compression. Just something I learnt from
experience :-/

Ben.
