Does anyone make HT leads for the 7m-gte anymore?   2014-02-10 10:24:00 <Jonathan Walker>
Anyone know who in or around Auckland I can source HT leads for my 7mgte from? Suprisingly, no one in the auto electric trade wants to co operate and bosch told me to all but go away.

I just used a good sized socket on an extension with a mallet to take them out, and used an actual keeper removal tool to press them back in.
looked something like this: http://www.powersportrider.co.za/prodimages/engine%20tools%20valve%20spring%20collet%20remove.jpg

Having a strong magnet is also super handy to pull out your buckets as well as catch your keepers.

If they're twice as long as neccesary, they're going back wherefrom they came! The 7mgte isn't exactly designed to accomodate any excess lead length safely without compromising their lifespan considerably. I'm lucky in that I have all the little plastic insulating guides completely intact (had to replace one that was broke causing the lead to rest so gently on the rocker cover. now the exterior of that lead is live as a mother)

I have some magnecore 7mgte leads that have had very little use that could be for sale as I have gone to 2jz vvti coils.

Let me know if anyone is keen. I also have another set of 2jz vvti wasted spark coils if anyone is keen on that.

Might be keen on the coils. I suspect mine are on their way out. How old
are they?

I want the leads. Where are you and how much? BNT dropped the ball big time
and I need leads now.

I'll also take the coils as long as they fired OK before you took them out,
provided you still have them.

Ok I got a little carried away buying coils... I have quite a few...

1 set (three) 1jz/2jz vvti coils with factory plugs. $200 (Might be a second set somewhere??) direct drop in for the 7mgte electronics

2 sets (three) 7mgte coils with factory plugs $100/set

1 set of 7mgte magnecor leads at least 8mm bought from bazda only done like 4km? $100

At least two 7mgte ignitors.

Not yet but maybe soon for sale.

6x 1zz coils
4x 1nz coils
1jz vvti ignitor
1jz/2jz vvti coils

Draw back is I am overseas for another three weeks. Everything is in Auckland.

Email me if you want to go further with any bits. limbodk@gmail.com
